Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SmartBiz AI ("the Service") at smartbizai.in. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. The Service

SmartBiz AI provides point-of-sale, billing, accounting, and reporting tools for small businesses, with optional add-ons (such as a WhatsApp assistant and pre-built or custom apps). Features may evolve over time.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your login and staff PINs confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Free trial & subscriptions

• New accounts get a 3-month free trial of the core app. You are not charged during the trial.
• After the trial you may choose a plan. Current prices are shown at sign-up and on our pricing page. Nothing is auto-charged — if you do not pay, the service simply pauses and your records stay available to you.
• Paid plans are billed in advance for the chosen period (monthly or annual) and are prepaid.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Prices are in Indian Rupees and may be revised with notice.

4. Your data & acceptable use

• You own the business data you enter. You grant us the limited right to process it to run the Service.
• You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to breach its security, or use it for unlawful purposes.
• If you use the WhatsApp assistant, you agree to message only people who expect to hear from you and to honour opt-out (STOP) requests.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance and may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

6. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. You are responsible for verifying accounting and tax figures before relying on them for statutory filings.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. You can export your data at any time while your account is open, and for 30 days after termination, after which it may be deleted (subject to the legal retention described in our Privacy Policy).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of India.
